An Outstanding Tour!
Nancy F, 04-09-2019
What a day we had! I had never been on a private tour before and this was luxurious, informative and fun. We could not have seen so many sights in one day on our own. I enjoyed every minute of it.
The car was comfortable and our guide Chuck was friendly, knowledgable and flexible. We enjoyed the beautiful gardens of Vancouver: Stanley Park, Sun Yat Sen Chinese Garden, Queen Elizabeth Park with its conservatory of flowers and birds, and Van Dusen Botanical Gardens. Each was memorable. And we went to Granville Island, the home of artisans and markets.
Since there were just two of us, we experienced some things that would not occur on a larger tour: We skipped going to Gastown (as we had been there) and spent longer at Granville Island where I bought unusual gifts and blueberry tarts. In Stanley Park we spent some time listening to a musician who played a Chinese violin called an erhu and got to speak with him. Chuck was able to track down a piece of equipment that I had forgotten to pack, and he took us to the medical supply store that had it for me to purchase.
I highly recommend this tour.
