What To Expect

Stanley Park
Start the day after hotel pick-up with Stanley Park. Stanley Park is a 1000-acre playground with stunning city views, mountain backdrops, and the salty smell of the Pacific Ocean. See why it was named the top park in the entire world and continues to rank as one of the best parks in the world. In Gastown, see Maple Tree Square, Vancouver’s oldest architecture, and the world famous steam powered clock. Next up, Chinatown is known for great restaurants, shopping, and interesting architecture (like the world’s thinnest building), all for your senses to feast upon. After that is is on to Granville Island, a tiny peninsula that is a hotbed for good food and great art. Spend time browsing artisan workshops or get some great food and even better views waterside at the Granville Island Public Market. Then, drive over a true Vancouver landmark, the Lion’s Gate Bridge, a 5,890-foot (1,823-meter) bridge that offers unparalleled views of Vancouver Harbor, English Bay, and beyond. Once across the Bridge and in the North Shore, the tour continues on a short drive up the mountain to the Capilano Fish Hatchery. Here you will learn about the life cycle of salmon and depending on the season (July-August), watch them as they leap their way upriver. Next, head over to the Capilano Suspension Bridge, known as a world-famous foot bridge, to walk among the towering trees of the surrounding temperate rainforest and learn the traditions of the Coast Salish indigenous people. Then cross the infamous 446-foot (136-meter) bridge to the other side of the river to a climb into the canopy and walk through the Treetops Adventure walkway high above the canyon and river below. For those seeking a more thrilling experience, try the Cliff walk, the newest attraction at the Capilano Suspension Bridge. This adrenaline-pumping journey travels through the rainforest on a series of suspended walkways built out from the granite cliff face to give the group access to unexplored territories of the park. Our group of 6 had a great day with our driver Ricky. He was a great driver and the vehicle was comfortable and well appointed. Ricky was knowledgeable about the city and engaging. We were able to visit many of the must see locations including Stanley Park, Lions Gate Bridge, and the suspension Bridge. I would definitely recommend this tour!
Vancouver in a day!
Susan_M, 05-08-2022
Our guide, Ricky, was great. He had a lot of information about Vancouver for us and customized our tour to suit us. We only had an afternoon to spend in Vancouver, but felt we had seen all the highlights. We were very satisfied with our experience. Ricky was patient and knowledgeable. He was very considerate of the pace and abilities we had. Couldn’t have asked for a better day or guide to see Vancouver. Highly recommend him!

Our driver, Ricky, is a very smooth driver and quite knowledgeable regard Vancouver and surrounding areas. Took us to locations we were interested in seeing and suggested other great options.
Great tour of Vancouver, would recommend to everyone.

Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and hit all the highlights of Vancouver. The vehicle was very comfortable, and the whole experience was very professional and we felt like VIP's. The _only_ thing missing was a mic for our driver. Because of some of the covid protections, road noise, and A/C and other ambient noise (normal stuff) it could be hard to hear some of the things that were being pointed out, mostly for those in the back. It wasn't a huge deal, but my only suggestion to an otherwise wonderful excursion.

Extra helpful that we were transferring from a cruise ship, with half the family going to a hotel and other other half to the airport. being able to have the bags with us, unobtrusively, was a HUGE bonus!
Could have just used Uber

Bit of a language barrier with the driver and we expected more of a tour guide than just a driver to the sights. Preet was very nice, though.
