What To Expect

Main Street Brewery
We start with unique access to a historic building and local brewery to see, smell, taste and learn the basics of 4 seemingly simple ingredients that create over 100+ distinct styles of beer in the world. We'll enjoy 4 craft beer samples, one is a similar recipe to what beer tasted like centuries ago.

45 minutes • Admission Ticket Free

Mount Pleasant
As we enjoy a light walk through 'Brewery Creek', we'll visit 2 other very different breweries in the neighbourhood, we'll dive into how the craft beer subculture was recently revived and why it's quickly gaining in popularity. Our beer tastings will include stories of 3 popular American craft beers styles of today - many of the beers we taste are small batch, meaning they're only available in the local breweries we visit. No doubt we'll likely get into some healthy banter over which ones are the best.

Whether you’re brand new craft beer or a veteran, you’re sure to enjoy these very local and very tasty alcoholic beverages and meeting the people who make it.

Craft Beer Vancouver experience

It was a really amazing experience! Chad is so profesional and really enthusiastic, he was able to transfer us his passion for the beer and it's production. Thank you Chad for everything, we will do this again when friends come to visit!

This was a great walking beer tour of Vancouver. Our guide took us to three local breweries where we had beer flights. The guide was very knowledgable about beer as well as the breweries and the local neighborhoods. I highly recommend this tour.
Great mix of beer and history

I had a wonderful time on the brewery creek tour! We visited 3 breweries, including a behind the scenes tour in one of them. Chad was knowledgeable, passionate and made sure everyone was getting the most out of the experience. The tour really opened my mind about trying new styles of beer instead of my usual go-tos.
In between breweries, we walked past the beautiful murals of the Mount Pleasant area and got to hear about the history behind them. I would definitely recommend this tour!
Great fun, great beer!

Chad is extremely knowledgeable about beer and brewing. You get some great beers to try as well as a behind-the-scenes look at one of your breweries. He's quick to adapt the beer tastings to what your group says they like (he managed to remember what all nine of us liked even at the end of the evening!) The breweries all had a different feel, so there's something for the friendly neighborhood fan, the loud and jumping fan, the quiet and contemplative fan... it was definitely an enjoyable few hours spent, and I'd do it again.
In search of hoppiness

Fantastic thing to do on a rainy afternoon in Vancouver (or any day in Vancouver for that matter). Went to three different and incredibly atmospheric breweries and tasted some awesome beers - from light and refreshing to rich and creamy ales. However, and this is a big statement, the beers weren't the best thing of the tour. The stand out for me was our guide Chad. He was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and made each of the venues, and the wider Vancouver area, come alive with stories, interesting facts and anecdotes. Would highly recommend this tour.
