Informative and Fun

My buddies and I took the East Vancouver tour, as it was suggested as one of the Thursday evening activities to do, at the conference we were attending.
We got onto the bus expecting it to be an evening of wild partying. We were quite mistaken. Kevin, our tour guide took us to East Van. Brewing, Andina Brewing and Off the Rails Brewing. The bus was clean and he drove through the Vancouver traffic with ease.
When we arrived at East Van. Brewing, our table was set with our flights. A staff member, told us about each of the beers that we were about to enjoy. Kevin, followed up by telling us more information about the brewery and the history of the surrounding community. It was very interesting and informative. There was an opportunity to purchase food here as well. My buddy and I took part in some grilled cheese and lobster sandwiches. Excellent!!
The same thing happened at Andina Brewing, the flights were ready for us and we were told more about the beers we were partaking in. Once again, South American food was offered and some of the others in the group bought some and it was enjoyed by everyone. The food was awesome!! Kevin told us more about the brewery, community and how some of the beers were made.
The final stop was at Off the Rails Brewing, and here the owner allowed us to choose four beers for our flights, from a choice of about sixteen options. The beers were excellent and Kevin took us into the back of the brewery here and gave us a tour of the location and told us about the process of brewing and bottling the beer.
This was a totally different experience than what we were expecting. This brewery tour was informative, quite posh (we were all well looked after) and fun. We did not leave the bus at the end "whooping it up" in a drunken haze, but more "buzzed" discussing which beers were our favorites and how enjoyable the entire experience was. Kevin was a Rock Star. We thanked him for all that he did!
On the way home from the conference, we were still talking about how great the brewery tour was.
10/10 would recommend

I had booked the private beer bike tour for a birthday and it was a lot of fun! Kevin was our guide and he was great! Very kind, funny and nice. We got to play music on the bikes and he was very flexible on us staying longer at any of the brewery stops if we wanted. Was a fun Saturday afternoon!!
Lovely tour

We have just got back from the tour led by Darren. What a lovely friendly and welcoming guy. From the moment we met him we knew we would enjoy it. There was 2 of us plus 4 people from Quebec. Lovely group of people who were good fun.
The three breweries we visited were so different to each other and the choice of beers was a very good mix of Pilsner, IPA, sours (didn't realise they would taste so good) and a stout.
We ate in the East Van brewery. The lobster mac n cheese was very nice and very welcome after quite a lot of beer.

I would recommend this tour to go with your partner or with friends.

There are no negative comments to make as we both really enjoyed it. Thanks Darren.
