Tis the Season to be Jolly

What a perfect start to the Christmas Season and to get into the spirit of Caroling together on a boat.
A perfect way to experience the Christmas sights & sounds of Vancouver City & harbour from the charmingly lit up Princess Harbour Cruises boat.
Charming starts with the perfect hostess Josephine who could be or should be a descendant of the original Josephine Baker of yester years...Enchanting.
The buffel dinner is delicious with a great variety of salads, meats and vegetables. Mashed potatoes “ like mother use to make”. Great friendly & attentive service by the staff.
The choir of 4 sets the right tone starting at the entrance to set the mood.
After dinner the 4 singers get everybody to join in caroling together with all other revelers on board. Everybody gets a song book with lyrics to join in.
A splendid evening spend with like minded merrymakers, making for a Merry Christmas time.

This was my first time doing the Carol Ships Dinner Cruise with Harbour Cruises. I have been on all their other dining and tour cruises but this was one gave you a warm fuzzy feeling and definitely got you into the holiday spirit, which I love!
Josephine is such a sweetheart and always makes you feel welcome. I always enjoy seeing her and love walking into the office to be greeted by her and her staff. They are all so friendly and helpful!
Once stepping onto the Harbour Princess, you are surrounded by Christmas lights and beautiful blue ceiling lights. We were sat at our table and greeted by the lovely wait staff. Everyone had smiles and were very friendly. Once again, gave you the feeling of warmth and comfort.
The carolers had such beautiful voices and if you feel awkward and embarrassed like me, especially with no "liquid courage", they will hover over you jokingly to get you involved. It was fun and we went along with it, of course!
My boyfriend is pescatarian and I prefer fish over turkey and don't eat pork so I was glad they were able to accommodate a salmon dish as our main dish. The mashed potatoes were so smooth and creamy and the salmon was cooked perfectly. I loved each of their salads, especially the chickpea one! I was far too full to be able to have any dessert, but my boyfriend really liked the cheese cake.
After our meal, we went upstairs to the outside viewing deck. They had one small upper deck that was basically just big enough for the two of us. We got to enjoy a romantic moment alone, looking at all the lights surrounding us...BC Place, Science World, decorated trees at English Bay, Lions Gate Bridge, Canada Place and more. It was cold but worth the views!
All in all, a lovely experience filled with Christmas cheer!
Great atmosphere, fun tradition with family & friends

We were on the Carolship Dinner Cruise couple weeks ago with friends and it was just great!! The open buffet had a variety of foods; main dishes were turkey & ham and they were all very delicious, dessert buffet was soo yummy. Carolers greeted us and after the food, we started singing together, song sheets were on each table. It was such a fun and memorable atmosphere. Everybody looked enjoying their Christmas cruise. The boat was big and decorated well. We definitely recommend it and will come back every year with family and friends.
Interesting but not really special

It's an interesting program but not really special. Limited choice of food and view outside just an ordinary one.
Mediocre food, good entertainment

Went with another couple for the Carol Singing Ship. The food buffet was very limited, but what they did offer was food.

Dessert was very poor-no hiding they were mass produced frozen cheese cake and chocolate logs...dry, tasteless.

Cocktails were ok, but seemingly virtually no alcohol in them...our table of 4 and another couple we spoke to all discussed not even having a buzz after each drinking 3-4 each...very strange.

Carolers spent most time in first deck, neglecting second. When they did come up, they sounded nice.

Boat tour was good duration.
