Overview

The city of Vancouver boasts an unparalleled combination of natural beauty and vibrant urban living, day and night. What better way to drink it all in than on a twilight bike ride? Cruise through cool forest trails in the early evening, then catch a dazzling sunset over the water from a sandy beach. Enjoy a stop for gelato on the seawall as the daylight slowly fades, then as night approaches we'll ride along False Creek taking in the shimmering city lights reflecting off of the water. Finally, we ride along a raised roadway getting an epic view of Downtown, BC Place Stadium and Science World. You’ll be amazed by the spectrum of sights and sounds after this evening well spent.

Our guide, whose name I don't remember, was great. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. The ride was great: generally flat and easy, but with lots to see.
Great way to start a vacation

What a great way to introduce yourself to the city! You get to figure out the layout if the city and get some history and tidbits of useful information too!!

Loved the biking route, which covered the entire seawall. Despite the length, it didn't feel tiring at all because there was plenty of moments to rest and take photos. Keeley was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions.
Great time of day to see the City

Vancouver sunset bike tour - with e-bikes.

Utterly brilliant! It may seem like a lot of money up front when you are sat in your armchair at home - but it is totally worth it in terms of seeing large parts of Vancouver with ease. (We opted to pay for e-bikes as my wife "does not do bikes" and even she thought it was easy). It really helps to get your bearings and enables you to decide what to spend more time on visiting etc. so you don't waste precious time. I recommend doing this trip early on in your trip. The sunset bit seems incidental but it does add an extra dimension and for us meant that we did not have to venture out in the blazing heat and for photographers means that the light might be preferable. Marion was our guide and was very knowledgeable and attentive. We really thought that we had achieved something by the end of the tour thanks to Marion (and I don't mean that the bike riding was difficult - far from it!) Both my 18 year old and my 21 year old thought it was the best part of the holiday and even my wife has had to reconsider her view of cycling. Well done Marion - well done Cycle City Tours!
